SFK Wins Heritage Awards for the Second Time in a Year Glynde Place wins National Building Conservation Award. Glynde Place wins another conservation award at the RICS Awards Grand Final. The Judges said of the project “Interventions to provide accommodation fit for modern life have been sensitively incorporated and do not jar with the old.” They praised the thorough approach and execution of the work. SFK are delighted to have worked with Glynde Estates, Viscount Hampden, Giles Quarme and Associates, Sawyer and Fisher and Daedalus Conservation on the latest phase of work.
SFK appoints Stuart Divall as Partner

Our Civil and Environmental capability is led by Stuart Divall, who has recently become a Partner of the practice. Stuart brings over 30 years of experience in hydrology, flood risk and drainage; pre-planning environmental work, including EIA; sustainable master-planning and infrastructure design; environmental compliance and due diligence.
Prior to joining SFK, he was responsible for managing the Ramboll Environment Team in the south of England, and the development of the Natural and Urban Water Group within the UK, as well as establishing and developing an environmental capability in Gibraltar.
In this role, Stuart was responsible for the technical quality of all Hydrology and Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and design of Sustainable Drainage Systems for clients across all sectors. He has been actively involved in writing several articles in both the industry and national press in response to recent flooding in the UK, drawing on experience of mitigating risk through blue-green infrastructure strategies and sustainable drainage.
Since joining SFK, Stuart has undertaken a number of drainage strategies, flood risk assessments, river restoration schemes and design of hydraulic structures within the historic environment.
