The Vyne is a Grade I listed Tudor mansion and for the first time in its history the roof was completely restored, with new hand made tiles throughout.
Significant timber repairs were required and failing chimneys were rebuilt. The building was covered with a large temporary roof incorporating a visitor access walkway at ridge level to allow the public to view the original roof structure throughout the works.
