Unused for many years, the project was to create a high-quality space for music rehearsal and recital together with an office for the Director of Music. Comprising load bearing masonry walls to the ground floor, the first floor and pitched roof are framed with historic oak timbers. SFK developed a comprehensive structural repair and strengthening strategy for the building. A new lift was installed, using a screw pile foundation through an area of some archaeological interest.
