The Old Royal Naval College is a magnificent collection of Baroque buildings built on the site of a Tudor royal palace.
The buildings are at the heart of the Maritime World Heritage Site. SFK has been working at the Royal Naval College since 2003 and in that time has been involved in over 70 projects.
In 2019 a major restoration of the Painted Hall was undertaken. 3700 sq m of painted surfaces were restored with the internal environment improved. Alterations were also made to the Queen Mary undercroft to provide better visitor access including the provision of a lift.
This project was awarded an RIBA National Award in 2019.
