The Temple was found to be in poor condition with timber temporary shores supporting the structure.
Foundations had been impacted by excessive cultivation and irrigation causing shrinkage and heave of the subsoil.
A system of drainage trenches and stitching of the structure using Cintec socked anchors was used to stabilise the remains permitting the timber shoring to be removed. The structure can now be viewed unsupported for the first time in many years.
