After many years with no use the building was in poor condition. Repurposed as a marketing suite for the residential development of the site, SFK advised on all aspects of structural refurbishment. These included repair and replacement of the timber roof and floors, repair and strengthening of the masonry parapet, new lintels in the external solid brick walls, forming a large new opening in the first-floor slab and support of new ceiling and services from the steel filler joist slabs with clay pots.
