The restoration was subject to rigorous planning and listed building requirements as the building was on the ‘Heritage At Risk’ register. Significant structural movement had occurred within the building with serious decay to primary timber elements. Repairs were required to the timber roof, timber wall elements and the external brickwork walls. Internally, the staircases required extensive structural repair. The project was completed in 2021 and received a Georgian Group Award in 2022.
