Apethorpe Hall
Location: Apethorpe, Northamptonshire
Client: English Heritage
Architect: Rodney Melville and Partners
Value: £4m
Apethorpe Hall was built in the late 15th Century and is a Grade I listed country house.
After years of neglect and decay the mansion fell into disrepair and in 2004 English Heritage stepped in with a compulsory purchase order. After an extensive programme of conservation and repair, overseen by SFK Consulting, the building was opened to the public.
Further repairs were undertaken to the Orangery and West Range which were completed in 2014.
