Knole, which is a Grade I listed building is considered to be one of the great ducal palaces of England.

With a complex of stone ranges around seven courts, this vast property covers an area of four acres. It was built in late 15th and early 16th Century and remains largely as it was in 1610.

The project known as ‘Inspired by Knole ’ has been devised to address deterioration of the fabric and at the same time extend areas of the house that are open to the public. The visitor experience is to be improved through the creation of Conservation Studios and extending the café.
