Memorial Hall is a Grade II listed building opened in 1925 to commemorate 749 lives lost during World War I.

The building is an early example of reinforced concrete designed by WG Newton with a roof that spans up to 17m. Significant structural alterations were made including widening of the proscenium arch, and strengthening of 2m deep reinforced concrete beams to accept additional plant loads.
