Gary is a Chartered Structural Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers with 35 years of experience working as a designer and director of major projects. He has carried board level responsibilities for a major international Engineering Consultancy and has a wide experience across all sectors of the Building Construction industry. Since 2011 he has specialised exclusively in the repair and refurbishment of historic buildings.

Gary has served on a number of committees for the Institution of Structural Engineers including two periods as Chairman of the Southern Regional Group. He has lectured on Structural Engineering topics to Architecture and Engineering students. For much of his career he has acted as a designer but has also acted as an expert witness.
