Sustainable Drainage
Sustainable drainage plays an important role in managing surface water while enhancing the wider environment.

At SFK we provide both standard and innovative Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) that work with natural processes to reduce pressure on conventional drainage infrastructure, reduce flood risk and enhance water quality.

Our work includes the design and integration of features such as swales, attenuation basins, permeable surfaces, and landscape-led drainage solutions, such as rain gardens.

These systems are carefully developed to respond to site conditions while improving water quality, supporting biodiversity, and enhancing the overall landscape.

We take a coordinated approach, working alongside architects, landscape designers, and other specialists to ensure that drainage solutions are fully integrated into the wider design. We take pride in delivering sustainable, practical solutions that not only manage water effectively but also add long-term environmental value.
