Haydn is a Chartered Structural Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers with 25 years of experience working as a Consulting Engineer, both at a technical and project management level. He has a wide range of experience across all sectors of the Building Construction industry and prior to specialising in the historic sector he was the Project Manager and Structural Engineer for two major award-winning projects for the Universities of Manchester and Southampton.

Haydn is also a member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) and has previously served on the committee of the Panel for Historic Engineering Works. In addition to work as a designer and project lead he has lectured to Architecture and Engineering students at Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth Universities.
